The compressor is intended for textile mills where suction is from a polluted atmosphere. Air enters through a filter (16f) and a non return valve (16c) to the compressor (1) and is discharged into a water separator (8). It passes from this through a forced air type cooler (13b) to the outlet (18f) through a dryer (18d) and a non return valve (18a). Water retrun from the separator (8) to the compressor (1) through a forced air cooler (13a). A pressure relief valve (19a) can discharge air back into the suction. A header (26) at a low point in the water return piping (6) collects any dirt and impurities which the water absorbs from the inlet air. It is discharged through a blow down valve (24) which is periodically operated from a level control (51) in the water separator (8).

In the pressure section (3), the working medium is pushed by the projecting part of the piston (8). The inventive spherical positive displacement rotary machine enables uniform flow rate throughout the cycle. The input and output windows are spaced along a shaft, thereby making it possible to develop, on the basis of said machine, multistage down-hole pumps and hydraulic drives. A high tightness and a low internal hydraulic resistance render the inventive machine effective within a large range of viscosities of the working medium. The simple geometrical shape and the interaction of 'plane-with-plane' and 'sphere-with-sphere' contacting parts provides the machine with an extended service life.

Also, the configuration of a tank used to store liquid for the vacuum pump system may be configured to separate and collect sediments near a drain port, which then can be easily drained. The present invention relates to a two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump in which impellers of two stages are attached to an axial end part of a main shaft (rotating shaft) of an engine. The two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump has a first stage impeller (4) provided in a first stage pump chamber (1), a second stage impeller (5) provided in a second stage pump chamber (2), a single rotating shaft (7) to which the first-stage impeller (4) and the second-stage impeller (5) are fixed, and an outlet port (Pd) of the first-stage pump chamber 1 and an inlet port (Ps ) of the pump chamber 2 of the second stage communicate with each other. An outer diameter of the first-stage impeller (4) is larger than an outer diameter of the second-stage impeller (5).

A control system comprising: a suction line; an exhaust line; an operating liquid line; a liquid ring pump comprising a suction input coupled to the suction line, an exhaust output coupled to the exhaust line, and a liquid input coupled to the operating liquid line; a pump configured to pump operating liquid into the liquid ring pump via the operating liquid line and the liquid input; a motor configured to drive the pump; a first sensor configured to measure a first parameter, the first parameter being a parameter of an exhaust fluid of the liquid ring pump; a second sensor configured to measure a second parameter, the second parameter being a parameter of a fluid received by the liquid ring pump; and a controller operatively coupled to the first sensor, the second sensor, and the motor, and configured to control the motor based on sensor measurements of the first sensor and the second sensor. The control system advantageously tends to reduce or eliminate the wear caused by cavitations.

The present disclosure provides a pump-assisted degassing system, a vacuum degassing tower, and a water system having the same. The degassing system comprises a vacuum pump, connected with a degassing tower through a main pipeline, and configured to pump out a gas-liquid mixture from the degassing tower; a gas-liquid separator, connected with the vacuum pump in a closed loop through a circulation pipeline, and configured to perform gas-liquid separation on the gas-liquid mixture; and a booster pump, arranged on the main pipeline between the vacuum pump and the degassing tower, and configured to assist the vacuum pump to pump out the gas-liquid mixture. The vacuum pump and the booster pump constitute a two-stage pumping device. Only one vacuum pump is needed in the system, and the vacuum pump requires less circulating water and less motor power resulting in lower the equipment load loss in the operation efficiency.
