A first oxide component is formed over a base component. Crystal growth proceeds from a surface toward an inside of the first oxide component by a first heat treatment, so that a first oxide crystal component is formed in contact with at least part of the base component. A second oxide component is formed over the first oxide crystal component. Crystal growth is performed by a second heat treatment using the first oxide crystal component as a seed, so that a second oxide crystal component is formed. Thus, a stacked oxide material is formed. A transistor with a high mobility is formed using the stacked oxide material and a driver circuit is formed using the transistor.

The segments of the pixel electrode are normally interconnected by a source electrode. An inter-layer insulating film, on which a common electrode including slits is formed, is overlaid on the pixel electrode. In a case where the common electrode and one of the segments of the pixel electrode are conductively interconnected by a conductive foreign substance, the other segments of the pixel electrode are allowed to operate by disconnecting the conducted segment of the pixel electrode from the source electrode. Thus, one pixel is prevented from lapsing into a full pixel defect.

The present invention mitigates the anomalous electric fields among the slits and that of at the slit ends on the extension structures of the common electrodes by changing the depth of the edge slits of the pixel electrode; at the same time, the gradual slits are formed on one side of each edge slit, so that the electric fields at the edges are gradually changed and transited to the electric fields within the pixels. Thus, the anomalous disclination of the liquid crystal molecules in this region can be avoided, the hidden veins herein can be reduced, and the penetration rate of pixel can be enhanced.

The present invention changes the way external voltage is applied, and introduce external voltage from one side of color filter substrate to improve success rate of liquid crystal alignment, reduce energy-consumption and reduce waste.

A pixel unit, a pixel structure, a display apparatus and a pixel driving method can solve the problem that it is necessary to change polarity of voltage for each of data signals input to respective data lines and thus a power consumption is large in the prior art. In the pixel unit of the disclosure, the positions of the pixel electrode and the common electrode in two adjacent pixels in a pixel unit adopting the dual gate technique are exchanged. The pixel structure is constituted by an array formed by the pixel units. When applying the pixel driving method to the pixel structure to achieve a pixel dot-inversion or a pixel column-inversion, there is no need for changing the polarities of voltages of data signals input to respective data lines, and thus the power consumption is reduced.

In a liquid crystal display device including: TFT substrate; color filter; counter electrode; interlayer insulation film; pixel electrode; alignment film; liquid crystal layer; counter substrate; and Si semiconductor layer. The color filter, counter electrode, interlayer insulation film, pixel electrode, and alignment film being formed on the side where the TFT substrate is provided, the counter substrate being disposed in facing relation to the TFT substrate with the liquid crystal layer put between the counter substrate and TFT substrate, the Si semiconductor layer is formed between the pixel electrode and interlayer insulation film. Even when light from a backlight is absorbed by the color filter and sufficient light cannot reach the alignment film, electric charges accumulated on the alignment film can escape to the pixel electrode in an early stage by the Si semiconductor layer formed under the alignment film, thereby capable of erasing the afterimage in an early stage. 1. A substrate structure with spacers , comprising:a substrate; anda plurality of spacers arranged on one side of the substrate,wherein each spacer has a cross section taken in a direction parallel with the substrate, wherein a size of the cross section of each spacer in a length direction is greater than a size of the cross section of each spacer in a width direction, and an angle between the length direction of the cross section of the spacer and an X-direction of the substrate is greater than about 0° and less than about 90°, or greater than about 90° and less than about 180°.2. The substrate structure with the spacers according to claim 1 , wherein the angle between the length direction of the cross section of the spacer and the X-direction of the substrate is greater than about 10° and less than about 80° claim 1 , or greater than about 100° and less than about 170°.3. The substrate structure with the spacers according to claim 1 , wherein the angle between the length direction of the cross section of the spacer and the X-direction of the substrate is about 45° or about 135°.4.
