The method for creation of image on an object involves electrostatic transfer of toner onto the object surface and at least melting of the toner on the object surface. The toner essentially consists of food components including a thermoplastic polymer and a colouring agent, mixed in a liquid melt. Additionally, the toner contains an additive for triboelectric charge control. The colouring agent in the toner is dispersed and distributed within the thermoplastic polymer bulk. The thermoplastic element includes at least one substance selected from the group consisting of a copolymer of polyvinyl acetate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone; a mixture of polyvinyl acetate and polyvinyl pyrrolidone; polyacrylic acid cross-linked with allyl cellulose or an allyl ether or pentaerythritol; tragacanth gum; copolymer of poly-α- hydroxy carboxylic acid with polyol; propylene glycol alginate; a fumaric acid ether; sorbitan monostearate; sorbitan tristearate; sorbitan monostearate polyoxyethylene; sorbitan tristearate polyoxyethylene and sorbitan monooleate polyoxyethylene. A method of preparing a toner is provided, including: preparing a colorant dispersion by mixing a reactive emulsifying agent and a colorant; preparing a toner composition by mixing a macromonomer having hydrophilic group, hydrophobic group and at least one reactive functional group, at least one polymerizable monomer, a multifunctional polyester, and the colorant dispersion; emulsion polymerizing the toner composition in a medium; and separating and drying the polymerized toner. A toner is prepared using the method, an image forming method using the toner and an image forming apparatus employing the toner are also provided. According to the method, the size, distribution and configuration of toner particles are easily controlled. In addition, the method minimizes a cleaning process, thereby decreasing the amounts of polluted water and waste water, which is very advantageous environmentally.
