Toners comprise aggregated latex particles having a core/shell structure in which the core comprises amorphous resin, colourant and gelling agent, and the shell comprises the same amorphous resin but is substantially free of gelling agent, the particles then being coalesced to form toner particles. The amorphous resin is preferably a polyester, polyamide, polyimide, polyisobutyrate, polyolefin or combination thereof, most preferably a diol/diacid polyester.
