A tamper evident tag is provided having a sealant layer, and ink layer and an oxygen barrier layer. The tag may be a film-based tag incorporating a color shifting ink layer located in the sealant layer and a bar code in the ink layer. When the container is opened, air enters the interior of the container, passes through the perforations and into the sealant layer. The present invention relates to banking card stickers that provide protection of information displayed on banking cards, by allowing the user to apply an adhesive backed, tamper evident and opaque sticker over all but the last four numbers of the user's card on the front and back of the card, the card code number on either the front or rear of the card, and the card's signature block. Each strip is adhesive backed and opaque. Different embodiments of the security stickers are provided for the user to choose for different kinds of banking cards. An adhesive sticker kit for banking cards may have at least two adhesive stickers covering the front and back of the bank account numbers displayed on the banking cards, at least one sticker of different size covering the security code of the banking cards, another sticker covering the signature block, and at least one sticker displays account information protection advisory statements. Label constructions comprise a first section and a second section that are laminate constructions of a card stock top surface that may include printed indicia, an adhesive layer disposed underneath the card stock, and a removable liner adhered to the adhesive layer and common to the first and second sections. The first section includes an RFID device. The first section may be configured once removed from the liner to fold on itself to form an RFID tag, or to form an RFID adhesive label. The second section once separately removed from the liner forms an adhesive label. The construction first and second sections are positioned adjacent one another and are formed during the same manufacturing process for purposes of manufacturing efficiency. Techniques or processes for providing markings on products are disclosed. In one embodiment, the products have housings and the markings are to be provided on sub-surfaces of the housings. For example, a housing for a particular product can include an outer housing surface and the markings can be provided on a sub-surface the outer housing surface yet still be visible from the outside of the housing. Since the markings are beneath the surface of the housing, the markings are durable.

A sealing label for sealing a snuff container may include a structural layer and having first and second side edges extending in a length direction and first and second end edges extending in a width direction. The sealing label may be divided in the width direction into a container lid attachment area and a container base attachment area. A tear strip area may be arranged between the container lid attachment area and the container base attachment area and may be terminated by a pull tab arranged at the first end edge. The structural layer of the sealing label may be a single structural layer of the sealing label and may consist of a mono oriented polymer film having a direction of orientation coinciding with the length direction of the sealing label. A snuff container provided with the sealing label is also disclosed.
