An adhesive agent label includes an adhesive agent layer which is made of an adhesive agent and is formed on one surface of a support. A non-adhesive heat-reactive layer is positioned above the adhesive agent layer and has openings formed by heating at a predetermined temperature or higher. An intermediate layer is positioned between the heat-reactive layer and the adhesive agent layer. The intermediate layer and the heat-reactive layer are formed thinner than the adhesive agent layer. The intermediate layer facilitates the formation of the openings in the heat-reactive layer with good heat energy efficiency and allows the intermediate layer or adhesive agent layer to be exposed through the openings.

A labeled package , comprising:a polymeric package;a filmic facestock material as a label on the polymeric package; anda pressure sensitive adhesive adhering the filmic facestock material to the polymeric package, the pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a monomer mixture, wherein the monomer mixture comprises (a) at least one monomer that is free radical polymerizable and whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to 10° C., (b) at least one mono-olefinically unsaturated monomer having aldehyde or ketone functionality, and (c) at least one polyhydrazide crosslinker having hydrazine functionality;wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive composition exhibits a peel adhesion value of between about 0.4 lbs/in (70 N/m) and about 4 lbs/in (700 N/m); andwherein a percent film remaining on the polymeric packaging after a sink-float testing is 0% to about 8%.2. The labeled package of claim 1 , wherein the at least one mono-olefinically unsaturated monomer having aldehyde or ketone functionality is present in an amount from 0.1 wt % to 5 wt. %.3. The present invention relates to banking card stickers that provide protection of information displayed on banking cards, by allowing the user to apply an adhesive backed, tamper evident and opaque sticker over all but the last four numbers of the user's card on the front and back of the card, the card code number on either the front or rear of the card, and the card's signature block. Each strip is adhesive backed and opaque. Different embodiments of the security stickers are provided for the user to choose for different kinds of banking cards. An adhesive sticker kit for banking cards may have at least two adhesive stickers covering the front and back of the bank account numbers displayed on the banking cards, at least one sticker of different size covering the security code of the banking cards, another sticker covering the signature block, and at least one sticker displays account information protection advisory statements. The security sticker substrate has a top layer that will crack if someone attempts to remove the sticker from the card, thereby alerting the cardholder that someone has tampered with the banking card. The cardholder may then notify the bank service provider that the card has been compromised.

Thin film labels, systems, and methods of making and using thereof are described. The thin film systems contain a label and a carrier film, where the label contains an overprint layer, indicia, and an adhesive layer. The carrier film may be coated on one or both sides with a release liner. Disclosed are removable pressure sensitive adhesive compositions (PSAs) useful with facestocks and/or packaging labels designed to be removed in the recycling of polymeric packaging. The PSAs of the invention include (a) at least one monomer which may undergo free radical polymerization and whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to 10° C., (b) at least one mono-olefinically unsaturated monomer having aldehyde or ketone functionality, and (c) an effective amount of at least one polyhydrazide crosslinker having hydrazine functionality. The PSA composition of the invention exhibits a peel adhesion value of between about 0.4 lbs/in (70 N/m) and about 4 lbs/in (700 N/m), and the percent film remaining on the polymeric packaging after a sink-float testing is 0% to about 8%. 1. A filmic facestock material for polymeric packaging comprising:a pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a monomer mixture, wherein the monomer mixture comprises (a) at least one monomer which may undergo free radical polymerization and whose homopolymer has a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to 10° C., (b) at least one mono-olefinically unsaturated monomer having aldehyde or ketone functionality, and (c) an effective amount of at least one polyhydrazide crosslinker having hydrazine functionality;wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive composition exhibits a peel adhesion value of between about 0.4 lbs/in (70 N/m) and about 4 lbs/in (700 N/m); andwherein a percent film remaining on the polymeric packaging after a sink-float testing is 0% to about 8%.2. Thin film labels, systems, and methods of making and using thereof are described. The thin film systems contain a label and a carrier film, where the label contains an overprint layer, indicia, and an adhesive layer. The carrier film may be coated on one or both sides with a release liner. The adhesive layer can be any suitable adhesive, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive, a fluid activatable adhesive, a heat activated adhesive, or a contact activated adhesive. The label is formed by printed or coating one or more layers of precursor material on the carrier film using standard printers. A method of manufacturing a flexible laminate structure , the method comprising:applying a blocker ink layer to an outer layer;printing an inner ink layer on the blocker ink layer;applying a pressure sensitive adhesive to the inner ink layer;laminating the outer layer to an inner layer to form a laminate structure; anddefining a cut line through part of a thickness of the laminate structure to form a peelable portion that includes the inner ink layer, the blocker ink layer, and the outer layer;wherein the inner ink layer is obscured from view through the outer layer; andwherein the inner ink layer is visible on the peelable portion after removal of the peelable portion from the inner layer.2. The method of further comprising printing an outer ink layer onto an inner surface of the outer layer claim 1 , such that the outer ink layer is disposed between the outer layer and the blocker ink layer claim 1 , wherein the peelable portion includes the outer ink layer claim 1 , and wherein the outer ink layer is visible through the outer layer.3. A label assembly including one or more dissolvable thermal direct adhesive labels and methods of assembly and use. According to one embodiment, each label includes a base layer, a thermal direct layer, an adhesive layer, and a barrier layer. The base layer, which has an upper surface and a lower surface, is water-dissolvable and may be made of a water-dissolvable paper. The thermal direct layer is positioned directly over the upper surface of the base layer and functions in the conventional manner to produce markings therein in response to heat. A writing tablet is formed from a substantially continuous, fanfolded web of uniform width having transverse paths of weakness, along which the web can be torn evenly into individual sheets of uniform size. One face of the web bears a series of pressure-sensitive adhesive patterns, one pattern on each sheet, which pattern contacts the adhesive-bearing face of an adjacent sheet only in nonadhesive areas. The pressure-sensitive adhesive and nonadhesive areas are so prepared that each sheet can be cleanly peeled from the adjacent sheet without adhesive transfer, even after prolonged storage. After the tablet has been formed, its sheets can be conveniently and efficiently imprinted in a printer or copier and then returned to tablet form.
