Схема управления СД-подсветкой включает модуль тока, блок сравнения, блок управляющего переключателя и блок сопротивления, причем на вход блока сравнения поступает напряжение с отрицательного вывода цепочки светодиодов, и когда напряжение на отрицательном выводе больше чем заданное пороговое напряжение, блок сравнения переводит блок управляющего переключателя в положение "Включено", при этом блок сопротивления подсоединяется параллельно модулю тока, чтобы снизить напряжение на отрицательном выводе. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly execute irradiation with light over the entire part of a liquid crystal panel and to reduce the electric power consumption. SOLUTION: This back light assembly includes plural cold cathode fluorescent tubes 31 which have lengths corresponding to the liquid crystal panel 20 and are laminated in parallel and a pair of supporting plats 32, 33 which are coupled to the ends of these cold cathode fluorescent tubes 31 and support the fluorescent tubes 31. The cold cathode fluorescent tubes 31 are successively flickered and images are continuously formed on a screen. Purple light corresponding to a wavelength of 380 to 420nm is released in order to excite the phosphors of a fluorescent layer 25. As a result, the effect of the surface light emission over the entire part of the fluorescent layer 25 is obtd. with low electric power consumption. In addition, the liquid crystal panel 20 is subjected uniformly with irradiation of the light over the entire part.

Illumination devices and related systems and methods are disclosed that can be used for LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) backlights, LED lamps, or other applications. The illumination devices can include a photo detector, such as a photodiode or an LED or other light detecting device, and one or more LEDs of different colors. A related method can be implemented using these illumination devices to maintain precise color produced by the blended emissions from such LEDs. One application for the illumination devices is backlighting for FSC (Field Sequential Color) LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays). FSC LCDs temporally mix the colors in an image by sequentially loading the red, green, and blue pixel data of an image in the panel and flashing the different colors of an RGB backlight. Precise and uniform color temperature across such a display can be advantageously maintained by continually monitoring ratios of photodiode currents induced by the different colored LEDs in each illumination device as each color is flashed.

A backlight unit , comprising:a power converter which generates a light source power voltage to a first node in response to a voltage control signal;at least one light emitting diode string which is connected between the first node and a second node, and receives the light source power voltage through the first node; anda controller connected to the second node,wherein the controller detects current of a detection node varying based on a duty ratio of the power control signal, and controls current flowing through the second node when the detected current is greater than a reference value.2. The backlight unit of claim 1 , wherein the controller comprises:a voltage controller which outputs the voltage control signal having a pulse width corresponding to a voltage level of the second node; anda current controller which detects the current of the detection node, and controls the current flowing through the second node when the detected current is greater than the reference value.3. The backlight unit of claim 2 , wherein the current controller comprises:a smoothing circuit which smoothens a voltage of the detection node to output a feedback voltage;a comparison circuit which compares the feedback voltage and the reference value to output a detection voltage corresponding to a comparison result; anda feedback control circuit which controls the current flowing through the second code ...

Embodiments of the application provide an image processing method and apparatus, and a liquid crystal display device, and relate to the field of image processing, where backlight values in respective backlight zones are determined as a function of values of grayscale brightness in a displayed image, display values in sub-pixels in a display zone corresponding to a target backlight zone are compensated for according to the result of comparing the backlight value in the target backlight zone with the weighted average of the backlight values in the other backlight zones. 1. An image processing method , applicable to a liquid crystal display device comprising a plurality of display zones , and a plurality of backlight zones , each of which is mapped to corresponding one of the display zones , the method comprises:obtaining, by the liquid crystal display device, backlight values in respective backlight zones as a function of values of grayscale brightness of a displayed image; andcomparing, by the liquid crystal display device, the backlight value in a target backlight zone with the weighted average of the backlight values in the other backlight zones, and compensating for values of color levels for display data in sub-pixels in a display zone corresponding to the target backlight zone according to a result of comparison.2. The image processing method according to claim 1 , wherein compensating for the values of color levels for the display data in the sub-pixels in the display zone corresponding to the target backlight zone comprises:compensating for values of color levels for display data in red and green sub-pixels in the display zone corresponding to the target backlight zone; orcompensating for values of color levels for display data in blue sub-pixels in the display zone corresponding to the target backlight zone.3.
