The connector for printed circuit boards has two groups of connector strips. The female part is made of sprung metal contacts on an insulating strip and the male part of fixed pins on one side of such an insulator. The design is intended to allow mounting of additional indicator components etc., without greatly increasing the overall geometry. The female section may be mounted on the P.C.B. and has, to some degree, flexibility of movement and enables the design of a particularly economical mating male part. A connector for connection to terminals of an integrated circuit. The connector consists of a dielectric substrate having a first side and a second side. The connector has wire bond terminals which are attached to the first side of the substrate and configured to receive wire bonds connected to a first set of the terminals of the integrated circuit. The present invention is a circuit board connector, and the circuit board connector comprises an insulative block and at least one electric connecting bar. An Insulation Displacement Contact Compliant connector system (IDCC) which includes a housing, header pins, and a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). Each header pin has at least a single barb to be retained into the housing. Each pin has a blade for contacting a wire. A compliant feature on the pin retains itself into holes in the PCB. The housing has a negative space similarly shaped to the pin. The housing includes a strain relief which provides a lead-in for a wire. When the system is fully assembled, the pins reside in the housing, and exit through the housing and into and through respective holes in the PCB. A wire can be inserted into the housing once the pins reside in the housing.
