Кабель 28 опускают через одно из отверстий 24 и пушку 38 через другое отверстие 34. Мишень 42 и пушку 38 поворачивают в направлении друг друга и затем выстреливают из пушки снаряд, такой как гарпун 40, в направлении мишени после прикрепления к гарпуну 40 пенькового каната 44. После подъема мишени 42 над плитой 14 и отсоединения гарпуна присоединяют кабель к другому концу пенькового каната и протягивают пеньковый канат через отверстие 24, пока не поместят кабель на место. A method for laying a plurality of cable sections to be successively positioned in series in a buried duct, according to a flowing-pushing method using a pressurized fluid. The different cable sections are successively introduced into the duct in a single entry point comprising a laying device notably comprising an orifice for introducing a pressurized fluid, a cable section entirely introduced into the duct is pushed towards the position which it should occupy in the duct, only by the pressure of the fluid introduced by said laying device and when a cable section has reached his final position in the duct, an opening is made in the duct near to the rear of the cable section. 1. Conduit spacers useful in preparing duct banks with reduced electromagnetic fields (EMF) are disclosed. The conduit spacers are designed to maximize phase cancellation of EMF from a closely-spaced series of electric power cables placed in conduits supported underground by the conduit spacers. The spacers are also designed to minimize the EMF above ground by reducing the distance needed to bury the cables for a given EMF above ground. In one embodiment, the spacers place conduits adjacent one another for maximum cancellation of a single three-phase cable installation. In another embodiment, the spacers place conduits adjacent one another for maximum cancellation for a dual three-phase cable installation, including cross-phase cancellation, e.g., A-B-C and C-B-A. 1. Coiled tubing with a secured conduit and a method for manufacturing same. A slickline held by a retainer is introduced to the coiled tubing manufacturing process by attaching the retainer and slickline to a metal plate, prior to the metal plate being welded into a tubular. The slickline is unaffected by the welding and heat treatment process or processes. To install the conduit into the coiled tubing, the coiled tubing is unrolled from the reel, the conduit is attached to an end of the slickline and the other end of the slickline pulled to fish the conduit through the coiled tubing, resulting in conduit held within the retainer inside the coiled tubing. In embodiments where a slickline is not used, the conduit can be pumped into the retainer or dropped therein by gravity when the coiled tubing is hung in a wellbore. Alternatively, a heat resistant conduit may be secured within the coiled tubing by attachment directly to the coiled tubing or held therein by a retainer.

The apparatus (“pusher”) can include rollers to apply a pushing force to one or more conductors or bundles of conductors. One or more rollers can be coupled to a drive mechanism. The pusher is configured to pull conductors or bundles of conductors off of one or more spools, and push the conductors or bundles of conductors without de-bundling or sorting the conductors. The conductors can be fed through the pusher in any format including side-by-side, vertical on top of one another, twisted together, or other formats. The pusher can include a guiding device that is configured to route the conductors from the pusher to a conduit through which the conductors are being pushed or pulled.

The method according to claim 1 , wherein the expander forces the fragments of the burst existing pipe further into the surrounding soil to prevent the fragments from damaging the new conduit or pipe.3. A roller support structure is used during wire or cable installation for substantial labor savings during the wire or cable pulling process and for protection of the wire or cable. The wire or cable is pulled through a cable fitting by installing a roller support structure containing rollers onto the fitting. In some embodiments the rollers are removed from the cable fitting after a cable is pulled through the fitting. For efficient roller removal, the roller support structure has positioning and holding plate pairs. By moving the positioning plates relative to the holding plates, the rollers are held in place or dropped from channels in the holding plates. In another novel embodiment, a cable fitting slide plate structure is used to move a cable through a cable fitting. This structure includes a low friction inside bottom surface plane of arcuate shape for efficient movement of the cable through the fitting. 1. A method comprising:mounting a roller support structure on a cable fitting, wherein the roller support structure has a first positioning and holding plate pair and a second positioning and holding plate pair and a roller, on a cable fitting, and wherein the cable fitting has a first opening and a second opening; andmoving a cable through the first opening into the cable fitting, over the roller of the roller support structure, and out of the cable fitting through the second opening.2. Pulling eyes are provided with integrated wiring systems suitable for installing conductors or cables. The pulling eyes may include body portions that define interior cavities that are sized to snugly engage outside portions of the conductors or cables. A pushing tool for propelling cable into a duct. The pushing tool includes a drive wheel that is coupled with a base and a rotatable handle.
