THE MEM IOM DESCRIHÏF

[1]

The model, as indicated in the statement previously correspaidante, relates to a new conduit for carrying an array of cables or wires at various points, and, especially, the genus of the duct being equipped with means or detachable accessories, designed to facilitate, on installation thereof, provides the said cables or orientation such as to eliminate the serious disadvantages that represent, in practice, the introduction, installation and the orientation of said electric wires or cables, where the path of the conduit undergoes changes or changes of direction: it is a-confectioneries e., . with curves repeated and tilts imposed by ' terrain.

[2]

Workers specializing in the installation of electrical networks in particular make use of a technique which can be described as prior to the present invention. They employ a band specially designed in various forms, ccmposée of spring wire, of a slide or similar member, that they discharge by a tip, and attempting to remove by the other, of a particular installation, which includes, sometimes, of sacrificed, drawbacks of all types and of ' excessive losses of time, and requires, quite often, that comes to cause disruptions at various points, by forcing a passage for the cable in question; this, when the conduit or pipe is not excessively long, because, in the case where you need to force a passage, due an excessive length, break at various points will be unavoidable.

[3]

Essentially, the preferred model has a conduit or a tube line, preferably, and spline structure, wherein (which), over its entire interior length, is inserted or threaded through a filament, a rope, a cable 'towing', an electrical wire, iron wire or other, of the thinnest possible section, while being very high tensile strength, for example, a very thin metal wire or a nylon thread, of which are very resistant to changes of direction, direction or pipe position and trend own thereof to curl.

[4]

Another feature of the model is that the filament, the rope, the cable 'towing', the wire or similar device will attach to one or the other of the tips of the duct or pipe " the wires of the electrical installation, by pulling on the other end, thereby placing them in a single and simple operation.

[5]

Another detail characterizing the model is what wire, rope, cable

[6]

' hauling1 or thread incorporated is slightly welded ^ along the interior surface of the conduit or pipe to ensure immobilization thereof, while allowing it come off very easily to the application of the lesser force.

[7]

Still a feature characterizing the model is that the said filament, rope, cable 'towing' or yarn thus incorporated is slightly welded, spaced or at intervals, along the inner surface of the conduit or pipe for the same purpose as that indicated in the previous paragraph.

[8]

Preferably, whether it is a wire-or of one cable '. of hauling' plastic, e.g., a nylon thread, this can be incorporated into, or during, the shaping operation applied to the tube in question, ensuring a, using thermoplastic welding, adhesion on either as Boute the length in question is spacedly.

[9]

In any other case -, strip wire, rope, cable 'towing' or thread of non-synthetic material may be incorporated into and welded to the tube in question, of any one of the ways indicated, either by pressure in the hot state of the tube during molding, or by adhesion by the applying means or coating of adhesive material on one of the parts concerned.

[10]

Among the practical advantages that can be underlined, in this model, there are the following:

[11]

has

[12]

1. The conduit being sleeved feed, there confectioneries that linking by a ferryboat and

[13]

pulling by the other.

[14]

2. The easy registration point opposite conductors from the trou.de corresponding verification.

[15]

3. In practice,, the lengths are usually about 18 meters, it is to say, at most, the following disadvantage home aogtao About thereby:

[16]

A) wax at where a length exceeds the 8 meters, the conduit provides strength to the bandhas the conduit is long and more, more said resistor

[17]

occurs markedly..

[18]

B) corm it is specified at paragraph has), further along the conduit is, the more resistance occurs; and also, the smaller the diameter of the said duct is large, the more resistance.

[19]

U at the time of suspension of any jobs, it is a great advantage that the conduit is already slipped, because, at the recovery of said works, the installer does not lose time checking the plane of the installation.

[20]

It will be gives, subsequently, an idea wider model characteristics in question, with reference to the sheet of drawings appended to this specification, on which, so somewhat schematically and solely by way of example, occur again preferred details of the model *

[21]

In the drawings:

[22]

figure 1 represents a cross-sectional view and in vertical section on the line b-b of Figure 2 of a duct according to the present invention.

[23]

Figure 2 represents a view in side elevation of a portion of the conduit, according to the invention, in partial section and longitudinally on the line - has - of

[24]

figure 1.

[25]

Figure 3 represents a view. similar to the first, in section on the line c-c Figure

[26]

Figure 1; represents a view identical to that of Figure. 2, herein enlarged and decreased with the projection, of Figure 3.

[27]

Figure 5 represents a view equal to the-previous, according to an expression of the invention.. "*

[28]

Referring to said. illustrated, there regains a tubular body conduit or splined canalisaiiça - - 1, a. fluted tube made of plastic having a cross-section ' relief, mid-length of the groove - 2 - and in low relief, the plane - - and 3, herein;: and covering the total length thereof, is incorporated, introduced or slipped a filament, cable 'towing', rope, wire or the like - the U - and, this, strong enough for tying in the cable of the electrical installation cables confectioneries any of its corresponding points for, then, pull those elements of the other side fear ensure their introduction into the X * installation of the pipe.

[29]

At the same time, the filament, cable 'towing', rope, wire or the like remains a malleability adaptation to variations in the tube, including when it is rolled up in a manner also tightened it is for storing a coil.

[30]

Said élément.-V - is presented, preferably, welded, but very light

[31]

- - 5, over the entire extent of the inner surface of the conduit - 1 -, for example (fig. TM), welded or adhered thermqplastic method over its entire length to the points 6 - - coincident with the points raised internal of the tube.

[32]

Essentially, the slight ^ dots, or unsoldering attachment or alternate points arranged at intervals - - 7 (fig. 5), which will offer a minimum of resistance to peeling by simply pulling, for that the operation of introducing the cables 1' plant remains effective and, at the same time, to ensure that the filament without play ââ.l'inside of the tube.

[33]

Once the nature of the model was properly described, it is indicated for any suitable purpose in that it does not remain limited to the precise details of the present disclosure, but that at centraire, it will be introduced into this model changes that sees fit, provided that it is brought and any modification to the essential characteristics of the model, which is described later.

[34]

The ducting, comprising built-in means for channelling or guiding these cables or other elements, especially synthetic tubular ducting of a rigid construction, is characterised in that during its manufacture, especially by moulding, or after this operation, the inside of this ducting (1) is fitted with, longitudinally and over its entire length, a cord, rope, string, fibre, metal wire or other element (4) of very small cross-section and of high tensile strength, whilst at the same time being very flexible in order to accommodate the variations in shape and coiling of the ducting. <IMAGE>

1, Duct pipe for cables and like, areca means incorporated therein for performing the pipeline, particularly in tubular conduits of plastics and strueture splined, in which, during the molding operation corresponding, during or after said operation, the pipe concerned is characterized by the fact that within the tube, along EE it thereof and throughout its extent, it comprises, slipped, a filament, stringing, cable hauling *' or like member of metallic material, fiber or other, and section very fine, but very high tensile strength and high ductility, in order to undergo successfully the varying shape of the duct or the tendency to curl.

2 Conduit for cable trays and similar elements, with means incorporated therein for performing this pipe, here, according to the previous paragraph, the filament, rope, cable 'towing' or similar device characterized by the fact that it is slightly welded or adhered along the interior surface of the conduit.

5. Conduit for cable trays and similar elements, with means incorporated therein for performing this pipe, here, according to the paragraphs, the filament, stringing cable hauling *' or similar device characterized by the fact that it is slightly welded or adhered, so espaeée or at intervals, along the inner surface of the conduit.
