A high efficiency, environmentally friendly system comprising a plurality of photovoltaic solar collecting panels (PV panels) is disclosed. The system comprises an outer frame to which a plurality of inner frames are mounted to which the plurality of PV panels are attached. To minimize shadowing by the outer frame upon one or more PV panels, at least one PV panel may extend beyond an endpoint of the main frame. The system also comprises an outer frame rotation actuator that rotates the outer frame and an inner frame rotation actuator that rotates the inner frames and the plurality of PV panels. The solar tracking array frames disclosed herein help to improve the quality of the environment by conserving a variety of energy resources (e.g., fossil fuels, hydroelectric energy, etc.) The solar tracking array frames disclosed herein also help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as solar tracking array frames do not produce carbon dioxide byproducts.

A solar energy system for use with tufted geosynthetics on sloping ground without the use of a traditional racking system. A frame attaches to the tufted geosynthetic cover to provide a flap and a solar panel secures to the flap directly or through a polymeric layer that attaches to the frame positioned between the flap and the tufted geosynthetic land cover with the solar panel adhesively attached to the polymeric layer. The solar panel being attached to the tufted geosynthetic land cover generates energy upon exposure to light. A method of securing a solar panel to a tufted geosynthetic land cover system for generation of energy is disclosed. 1. A method of securing to a tufted geosynthetic land cover system a solar panel for generation of energy , comprising the steps of:(a) attaching on a tufted geosynthetic land cover a portion of a frame to have a free flap extending from the attached portion; and(b) securing a solar panel to the flap.2. The method as recited in claim 1 , further comprising the step of providing a plurality of elongated members to define the frame.3. The method as recited in claim 2 , wherein the elongated members comprise tufted geosynthetic strips.4. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the frame has a polymeric affinity for a polymer property of the tufted geosynthetic land cover claim 1 , whereby step (a) comprises heat bonding the portion of the frame to the tufted geosynthetic land cover.5. The method as recited in claim 4 , wherein the frame comprises polyethylene.6. The method as recited in claim 1 , wherein the step (b) further comprises securing edge portions of a polymeric layer between the flap and the tufted geosynthetic land cover; and attaching the solar panel to the polymeric layer.7. Sunlight is redirected by a concentrating reflector toward a target area, whereat concentrated sunlight is collected and converted by a solar panel. As the target area changes position based on daily and seasonal solar movement, the position of the solar panel is adjustable to track the target area. The solar panel is guided by a repositioning mechanism, and both the repositioning mechanism and the solar panel are supported by a mechanical structure. The present invention relates to a solar power generation assembly and method for providing same involving an array of solar generating modules on a dual-incline structure, which can achieve high energy yields over a wide range of azimuths/orientations. The assembly consists of canopy wings providing for the dual-incline structure, where, depending on specifications, the canopy wings can differ in length, width, angle of inclination, structural material and solar module or other material mounted on the surface. The canopy wings may be pivoted or hinged to enhance the energy generation and/or other functional benefits of the assembly or system, including display elements, advertising, rainwater/precipitation and snow drainage and collection and energy transmission. The assembly or system is modular and may be assembled in a long continuous configuration in which the inclination, width and tilt of the canopy wings may vary of a long distance to maintain substantially consistent energy yields as the assembly or system orientation changes. 126-. A mounting bracket assembly comprises a flexible body including at least one top member and a flexible angled bottom member connected to the top member. The flexible body defines a beam insertion aperture between the top member and the bottom member. The mounting bracket assembly further comprises at least one clamp attached to the top member. The mounting bracket assembly may further comprise a threaded rod running through the at least one top member and a clamping nut securing the threaded rod to the top member such that rotating the clamping nut compresses the top member and grounds an electricity generating device such as a photovoltaic module. Utility-scale photovoltaic panels or modules for flat-on-ground mounting or mounting without a support structure between the module and the ground that have been adapted by including air vents or weep hole in a portion of the module frame. In operation, the vent holes allow air under the modules to escape if the module array is exposed to flooding. Letting under-module air to move through the weep holes lowers the buoyancy of the modules to prevent flood exposure from floating the modules. Also, weep holes or air vents allow air pressure equalization between the top surface of the module and the region under the PV module such as low pressures generated by heavy wind passing across the face of the array.

The present invention discloses a ground mounting system, particularly for mounting solar photovoltaic panels on a planar or inclined surface or a surface that is partly planar and partly inclined The disclosed invention is a system that comprised of an array of soil nails, inserted in the ground; a plurality of adapting apparatus, each on top of each the nails; and a resulting structure supports racks, made of metal or plastic, or other structural profiles designed to enable mounting photovoltaic panels on it, wherein the racks are installed on the array of nail using the adapting apparatus. 1. A ground mounting system , particularly for mounting solar photovoltaic panels on a planar or inclined surface or a surface that is partly planar and partly inclined , said system comprised of:(a) An array of soil nails, inserted in the ground;(b) A plurality of adapting apparatus, each on top of each said nails; and(c) A resulting structure supports racks, made of metal or plastic, or other structural profiles designed to enable mounting photovoltaic panels on it, wherein said racks are installed on said array of nail using said adapting apparatus.2.
