Finally, in the step of classifying, the gender of the subscriber is identified by assigning to the subscriber the label of the closest group.

When the server receives a request from a first device to set up a temporary position-sharing relationship between it and a second device, the server facilitates symmetrical position sharing between the two devices. While the relationship is active, the server can receive updated position data from one or both devices, and if necessary calculate or recalculate a path based on the updated data. The server can also alert one of the devices should the other move too close to or too far from a specified location. The request message or messages used to establish the temporary position-sharing relationship may include a timeout specifying when the server is to sever the position-sharing relationship.

Each of the information sources is assigned a rank number which is listed in the database along with the record for the information source. In response to a speech command received from a user, a network interface system accesses the information source with the highest rank number in order to retrieve information requested by the user. 1. An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention includes: a microphone; a communication module; a memory; and at least one processor, wherein the processor can receive and record a voice through the microphone while a function of receiving the voice is activated, generate first authentication data including data for the voice and identification data for the electronic device on the basis of the recorded voice, determine the mode of the electronic device on the basis of the recorded voice, send the first authentication data, receive second authentication data corresponding to the first authentication data, use identification data included in the second authentication data to connect communication with an external electronic device when the data for the voice included in the first authentication data matches data for voice included in the second authentication data, and perform, according to the mode, at least one function related to the communication-connected external electronic device and the voice. Various other embodiments are also possible.
