Convertible Food Transporting Box and Method

A convertible food transporting box consists of a single blank which, when appropriately folded, serves the dual purposes of transporting food, i.e. pizza, and elevating the box for displaying and serving the pizza. The lid section of the box has a plurality of perforated inserts as part of the lid section itself. When used to transport pizza or like food, the box is a standard pizza box type container. To convert the box to an elevated food display and serving tray, the perforated inserts are pushed out of and locked to the lid section, such that they extend outwardly from the lid section. The lid section is then rotated to a position beneath the container section, such that the extended inserts act as legs to support the box, now converted to a food tray.

An image forming apparatus has a developer container removably connected thereto, a developer feeding mechanism, a drive mechanism, and a torque limiter. The developer container includes a cylindrical container body having a developer discharge port, and a shutter fitted to be rotatable to open and close the developer discharge port. When the drive mechanism rotates the developer container in the developer feeding direction, while the torque limiter keeps the shutter stationary, the container body rotates through a predetermined angle to open the developer discharge port, and as the developer container continues to be rotated, the developer is fed through the developer discharge port. When the developer container is rotated in the direction reverse to the developer feeding direction, while the torque limiter keeps the shutter stationary, the container body rotates through a predetermined angle in the reverse direction to close the developer discharge port.

A rack for holding a wheeled vehicle within the bed of a pickup truck includes a frame and an upper arm and a lower arm attached to the frame. An electronic substrate has an attachment which can be attached to and detached from the electronic substrate. The attachment part is a clip-like member having a certain degree of elasticity, and is configured to grip an edge of the electronic substrate so that the attachment is held at a predetermined place. At least one handle assembly is engageable by a user for carrying the kitchen appliance, and includes a handle anchor positioned on the housing and a handle pivotably connected thereto. The handle is pivotable between an engaged position in which at least a portion of the handle contacts the lid to retain the lid in sealing engagement with the container rim, and a disengaged position in which the portion of the handle is spaced-apart from the lid to permit the lid to be removed from the container rim. The handle includes a locking mechanism for locking the handle in the engaged position.

The profile shape of the vessel body and of handle portion is formed from a single sheet of metal to create a flat by cutting, stamping or blanking. An opening is created in the handle portion to reduce heat propagation. The shape of the pan body is formed by spinning with the flat handle portion. The handle is formed by creating three-dimensional contours in the handle portion of the blank. The neck portion has a flat section adjacent the pan body followed by sections of different curvature. One section of the neck portion has a deeply curved cross-section. The stepped opening includes an upper portion of given diameter and a lower connecting portion of diameter smaller than the given diameter, to accommodate a variety of cups of different sizes. Momentary pushing of the cup holder door releases a catch assembly within the housing, allowing a spring coupled between the door and a fixed reference point to rotate the cup holder into the open position.
