A recessed ceiling ventilator with a light comprises a main housing (10), a blower (20) and a lighting unit (30), said main housing (10) being provided with: a first opening (11) connected with the air outlet (25) of the blower (20) and communicating with a duct (14); a second opening (12) formed at the lower portion of the main housing (10) and communicating with the interior of the room; the housing (23) of the fan of the blower (20) is provided with an air intake (24) oriented towards and opening towards the top of the main housing (10). As the air intake (24) and the second opening (12) open in opposite directions, the running noise of the blower (20) and noise transmitted from the outside via the air intake (24) towards the blower (20) cannot easily be transmitted via the second opening (12) to the interior of the room, and noise is thus reduced.

A ceiling ventilation fan with lighting reduces fan noise transmitted into a room. The ceiling ventilation fan with lighting has the following structure: at the lower portion of the main housing, a second opening that guides light from the lighting portion into the room is provided; on the fan casing of the air blower, an air intake port is configured as an upper opening facing the main housing. The air intake port of the air blower and the second opening connected to the room face opposite directions. Therefore, the sound that is mainly being transmitted to the outside of the air blower via the air intake port, such as sound from the operation of the air blower, is not transmitted through the second opening to the inside of the room and noise is thereby reduced.
