PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear magnetic resonance detection coil which is capable of affording a more uniform high-frequency magnetic field and reducing an electrostatic coupling. SOLUTION: An nuclear magnetic resonance detection coil is composed of the first or the fourth vertical bands 2, 3, 4 and 5 or the first or the fourth wings 6, 7, 8 and 9 made of belt-like conductive foil (conductive material). The first or the fourth slits, 2a, 3a, 4a and 5a in the fixed width and length are attached to the first or the fourth vertical bands 2, 3, 4 and 5 so as to extend lengthwise. Since the first or the fourth slits 2a, 3a, 4a and 5a are attached in the above manner, an area for a conductive foil sample becomes smaller, thereby increasing the Q value because of the rather weakened mutual electrostatic coupling between these conductive foils and the samples, whereas the use of conductive foils leads to a uniform distribution of high-frequency magnetic fields and a considerable increase ...
