USE OF URUSHIOL COMPOUND FOR PREPARING DRUGS FOR INHIBITING PHOSPHORYLATION OF SMAD3

Disclosed in the present invention is the use of a urushiol compound (code GQ-5) for preparing drugs for inhibiting phosphorylation of Smad3. In vitro experiments showed that the urushiol compound of the present invention can not only inhibit phosphorylation of Smad3 mediated by TGFβ1, but also can effectively inhibit expression of mRNAs and proteins of a-SMA, type I collagen and fibronectin downstream thereof. In vivo tests also obtained same results. It is suggested that GQ-5 has the effect of specifically inhibiting phosphorylation of Smad3 and can be used to prepare drugs for inhibiting phosphorylation of Smad3.
