The present invention relates to a method for determining optimum diamond power for producing a boron-doped diamond electrode. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for determining optimal diamond powder for the preparation of a boron-doped diamond electrode, capable of optimally selecting diamond powder used for diamond nucleation, which is a pretreatment process for preparing a boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode. According to the present invention, the particle size of the diamond powder can be determined for optimizing adhesion of diamond particles, which is a pretreatment process for forming a diamond layer during a process of manufacturing a boron-doped electrode, and therefore, an effect of forming a diamond layer having an optimum characteristic in manufacturing the boron-doped electrode is secured.
