According to the present invention, a method of predicting horizontal global insolation includes: a first step of obtaining weather data including an altitude angle of sun, a dry-bulb temperature, relative humidity, a wind speed, and sunshine duration for an area at which the horizontal global insolation is predicted; and a second step of calculating the horizontal global insolation for the area by using the obtained weather data.
