The present invention provides a bucket tooth of an excavator and a method for manufacturing same, the bucket tooth comprising hard particles in an excavation part of a tooth point where abrasion occurs, thereby having improved abrasion resistance and impact resistance through surface hardening. In addition, the present invention provides the bucket tooth for an excavator and the method for manufacturing the same, the bucket tooth being capable of maintaining a long lifespan as the hard particles do not fall off even when subjected to a strong force and an abrasion action as the hard particles are integrally embedded with the tooth point.
