... 본 발명은 피스타시아 웨인마니폴리아 (Pistaciaweinmannifolia J. Poiss. ExFranch) 추출물 또는 분획물을 포함하는 염증성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 피스타시아 웨인마니폴리아 추출물 또는 분획물은 독성을 나타내지 않으며, 염증 매개인자인 NO, IL-4, IL-5 및 IL-13의 생성 및 기관지 내 활성산소의 발생을 억제하고, 난백알부민-유도 천식 마우스 모델에서 기도과민성 경감 및 기관지 내 염증세포 침윤 억제, 기관지폐포 세척액 내 염증세포 감소를 현저히 유도하였다. 또한, 본 발명의 피스타시아 웨인마니폴리아 추출물 및 이의 분획물은 혈청 내 면역글로불린 분비, 기관지 내 점액 분비, 및 폐 조직 내 염증세포의 침윤을 효과적으로 억제하여 천식, 알레르기 및 염증을 비롯한 염증성 질환의 예방 및 치료에 안전한 제제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
