The present invention relates to a copolymer represented by chemical formula 1. When a conductive polymer of a copolymer comprising a thienopyrrole derivative is introduced to an organic active layer of an organic solar cell, it is possible to increase the affinity between a donor and an acceptor and to improve the compatibility between the donor and the acceptor. In this manner, it is possible to increase the interfacial surface area between the donor and the acceptor, and thus to increase the efficiency of a solar cell. In addition, it is possible to improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency and thermal stability by controlling the morphology of the polymer according to the content of the thienopyrrole derivative. The copolymer according to the present invention can be applied to various industrial fields including organic electronic polymers, such as organic thin film transistors and organic light emitting diodes, to improve the efficiency of the devices.
