The present invention discloses a multimedia data processing method and a system thereof. The method utilizes a conflict detection unit in a load/store pipe line unit. Before the conflict detection unit executes a cache access operation, potential conflict information is generated to predictively determine whether the load/store instruction address of a current thread is to cause a conflict miss.
