The ergostenol and the glycoside derivative thereof according to the present invention suppresses the production of chemokines increasing according to the skin inflammation stimulation and inhibits the activity of transcriptional factors controlling the expression of various inflammation mediators in the prevention and treatment of dermatitis, and thus can be favorably used as an agent for preventing and treating dermatitis or as a cosmetic material for alleviating atopy.
