... 본 발명은 세포의 이동을 정량적으로 측정하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로서, 배양 후에 융합된 단층 세포(monolayer)로 이루어진 세포층에 외력을 가하여 상처를 내고(wound), 세포들이 제거된 빈 공간으로 기존 세포가 증식하고 이동하는 상처 치유(wound healing) 과정을 정량적으로 측정(assay)하는 방법과 장치에 관한 것이다. 기존 측정 방법에서 면적이나 세포 개수를 측정하던 방법과는 달리 상처 부위 경계선의 길이변화를 측정하여 세포의 이동을 정량적으로 측정하는 방법 및 장치를 제공한다. 상처(Wound) 부위 면적의 감소를 측정하기 위해 상처 이미지를 반전시켜 계산하는 기존 방법에 비해 복잡한 과정이 필요 없고, 상처 부분에 침입하여 들어오는 세포의 개수 증가를 계수하는 기존 방법에 비해서도 시간이 덜 걸리고 프로그램화 및 자동화를 용이하게 만드는 효과가 있다.
