Disclosed is a washing machine having an improved structure to enable users to easily adjust the height and horizontality of the washing machine. According to the present invention, the washing machine includes a leg installed in the rear side of the bottom of a cabinet which forms the outer shape to adjust the horizontality. The leg may comprise: a rod facing the ground to be extended towards the inside of the cabinet; a bracket joined to the outer circumference of the rod to move along the rod; a worm wheel joined to the outer side of the bracket to integrally rotate with the bracket; a worm gear joined to the worm wheel to transmit a driving force for rotating the worm wheel; a shaft which is extended from the worm gear towards the front side of the cabinet and provides a driving force for rotating the worm wheel for the worm gear; and a case which accepts the worm wheel and the worm gear inside and is joined to the cabinet to be integrally moved with the cabinet.
