The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of carbon nanofiber and the carbon nanofiber manufactured according to the same. More particularly, the manufacturing method of carbon nanofiber according to the present invention comprises a step of preparing carbon nanofiber by depositing carbon onto the surface of carbon nanostructure through conducting a chemical vapor deposition reaction of carbon nanostructure with carbon source gas in presence of reducing gas. The manufacturing method of carbon nanofiber according to the present invention is economical in aspects of time, costs, and process.
