The present invention discloses a method for generating keywords in a target document. The method comprises the following steps of: extracting a single main word from the target document; generating a candidate keyword by coupling the main words; calculating cohesion between a first word and a second word included in the candidate keyword; calculating a context evaluation score of the first word and the second word based on similarity between two contexts, by considering periphery of words in which the first word and the second word are shown at the same time from a neighboring document as one context, and considering the target document as the other context; and selecting a final keyword based on the cohesion and the context evaluation score.
