The present invention relates to a catalyst for purifying an exhaust gas of a natural gas engine. The present invention provides a catalyst for purifying an exhaust gas of a natural gas engine, which comprises a mesoporous transition metal composite oxide containing cobalt (Co) alone or in combination with any one selected from nickel (Ni), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), magnesium (Mg), manganese (Mn) and cerium (Ce).
