The present invention relates to an electrical power storage device for a vehicle using compressed-air energy storage and to an electrical power storage method therefor, and the invention aims to create a vehicle feature involving a new concept whereby use is made of available energy generated during vehicle travel and a usable energy source from the outside. More specifically, the invention relates to an electrical power storage device for a vehicle using compressed-air energy storage, the device featuring a means which allows available energy that is discarded during vehicle movement to be converted into convenient-to-use electrical power and effectively stored for use, and the device being usable when required so as to match a rapid increase in electrical-power demand, without any limitations in terms of time and space during vehicle movement and when the vehicle is parked or stationary; and the invention relates to an electrical power storage method therefor.
