The present invention is to develop a cyanide production and accumulation system by using a bacterium, and relates to a technique of recovering platinum group metals from a spent catalyst of a vehicle using a cyanide solution produced using the system. By using the cyanide production and accumulation system developed in the present study, biological cyanide production can be increased. ... 본 발명은 미생물을 이용한 시안 생산 및 농축 장치를 개발하고 그 장치를 이용하여 생산한 시안 용액을 이용하여 자동차폐촉매로부터 백금족을 회수하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서 개발한 시안 생산 및 농축 장치를 이용하여 생물학적 시안 생산을 증가시킬 수 있으며, 생산된 시안 용액은 미생물이 포함되지 않은 시안 용액이므로 광석이나 폐기물 표면이 미생물 막으로 덮여 침출 속도가 감소하는 것을 방지할 수 있으며, 시안화 공정에 가장 적합한 pH인 10.5-11을 유지하며 시안화를 진행할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 또한 미생물학적으로 시안을 생산함으로써 상대적으로 안전하고 환경영향도 상대적으로 적다. 본 연구에서 개발한 장치를 이용하여 생물학적으로 생산된 시안 용액을 화학적 시안 용액과 비교했을 때 자동차폐촉매에서 백금족 회수 시 거의 유사한 침출능을 보임을 확인하여, 생물학적으로 생산된 시안 용액의 유용성을 입증하였다.
