... 본 발명은 도서 내용 점자 출력 장치에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 일반 출판도서의 인쇄면을 촬영한 이미지를 이용하여 문자를 인식한 후, 문자를 점자로 변환하여 출력하는 점자출력기에 나타나도록 함과 동시에 도서의 각 페이지의 문장 또는 단어 등의 글자 순서를 앞뒤로 선택하여 읽을 수 있도록 사용이 매우 편리하게 구성되어 시각 장애인에게 가정이나 도서관 등에서 일반 출판도서를 통한 정보 습득이 가능하도록 하고, 그에 따른 기존의 점자도서 출간에 소요되는 시간과 비용을 대폭 줄일 수 있는 도서 내용 점자 출력 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 도서 내용 점자 출력 장치는, 일측으로 책이 펼쳐진 상태로 투입 가능하도록 소정의 공간을 이루는 책 수용공간이 형성되고 상기 책 수용공간으로 투입된 책의 위치 상태를 감지하기 위한 위치감지센서가 구비된 본체부와; 투명한 재질로 형성되고 상기 책 수용공간 내부에서 상하로 왕복이동 가능하게 설치된 누름판이 구비된 책 고정부와; 상기 누름판에 의해 상기 책이 눌려진 상태에서 책의 인쇄면을 촬영하는 영상촬영부와; 상기 위치감지센서를 통해 상기 책이 정해진 위치에 놓인 것으로 판단된 경우 상기 누름판이 상기 책의 상부를 누르도록 상기 누름판의 상하이동 작동을 제어하는 구동제어부와; 상기 영상촬영부를 통해 촬영된 이미지를 문자 인식 처리하여 문자데이터를 생성 및 저장하고 상기 문자데이터를 점자데이터로 변환하여 송출 가능한 문자인식처리부와; 상기 본체부 주변에 배치되고 상기 문자인식처리부로부터 점자데이터를 수신받아 시각장애인에게 필요한 점자로 출력하는 점자출력기를; 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
