The present invention relates to a brazing alloy, and more particularly, to a brazing alloy which is comprised of copper (Cu), phosphorous (P) and strontium (Sr), and, in addition to these elements, is further comprised of any one element of indium (In), boron (B), silver (Ag), tin (Sn), cesium (Cs), germanium (Ge) and nickel (Ni). The present invention is characterized by comprising 5.0-7.5 wt % of phosphorus (P), 0.1-5.0 wt % of strontium (Sr), and the balance being copper (Cu). Unlike typical alloying elements, the brazing alloy of the present invention is comprised of copper (Cu), phosphorus (P), and strontium (Sr), and, in addition to these elements, further includes at least one element selected from the group consisting of indium (In), boron (B), silver (Ag) and tin (Sn). Thus, the brazing alloy either does not include silver (Ag) at all, or includes silver (Ag) in a significantly lower amount than that in typical brazing alloys containing silver (Ag), thereby exhibiting the effects ...
