One embodiment of the present invention takes the form of a lumbar-support assembly which is provided on a seat back frame inside a vehicle seat, and the lumbar-support assembly comprises: a securing wire which is provided on the seat back frame; a support member of which the upper end is rotatably provided on the securing wire and which supports the back area of a vehicle occupant; and a raising-and-lowering means which is provided on the securing wire and raises and lowers the bottom end of the support member towards the back area of the vehicle occupant.
