The present invention provides a method for producing biodiesel utilizing rice bran obtained as a byproduct in a rice milling procedure. The present invention suggests a method for producing biodiesel by adding an alcohol to rice bran containing oil and lipase therein, and optimum conditions in the synthesis of biodiesel, for increasing the production yield of biodiesel. In addition, the present invention suggests a method for producing biodiesel by adding oil and alcohol to non-fact rice bran. The present invention enables the production of biodiesel through a very simple method by utilizing rice bran obtained as a byproduct in a rice milling procedure or non-fat dregs left after rice bran oil is obtained, that is, non-fat rice bran, thereby simplifying the production method for biodiesel and reducing production costs, and thus the present invention can contribute to the distribution of biodiesel.

Provided is a biodiesel production method using rice bran obtained as a by-product in a rice polishing process. More specifically, provided is a biodiesel production method comprising a step of treating rice bran containing oil and lipase itself with alcohol. In addition, provided are optimal conditions in the biodiesel synthesis for increasing a yield in the biodiesel production. Furthermore, provided is a biodiesel production method by treating fat-removed rice bran with oil and alcohol.
