An objective of the present invention is to provide a snow shovel which allows a shovel plate to be horizontally laid on a work surface when being pushed, and installs a spring for vertically erecting the shovel plate when an external force is removed in a housing to be protected with a sufficient distance from the shovel plate to eliminate concern for a foreign substance frozen and attached to the spring or damage to the spring.
