PURPOSE: A method and a system for optimizing a combustion process of an internal combustion engine are provided to optimize a combustion process of an engine by finely tuning an algorithm which calculates combustion control parameters. CONSTITUTION: A method for optimizing a combustion process of an internal combustion engine(1) comprises following steps. An operation event related to the combustion process is controlled by a fast regulating loop in the cylinders of the internal combustion engine. Values related to the combustion process of an internal combustion engine are captured by a slow regulating loop(20). Combustion control parameters used in the fast regulating loop are calculated. The captured values of the internal combustion engines are communicated through a remote control station(10).
