Eine elektrisch zu betätigende Kupplung (10) hat einen ortsfesten Träger (12) sowie ein erstes Kupplungsglied (14) und ein zweites Kupplungsglied (16). Das erste Kupplungsglied (14) und das zweite Kupplungsglied (16) sind um eine gemeinsame Achse relativ zu dem ortsfesten Träger (12) und relativ zueinander drehbar angeordnet. Der Träger (12) weist eine in einem ersten weicheisenhaltigen Teilkern (12a) teilweise aufgenomm eine, dem ersten Kupplungsglied (14) zugewandte Spulenanordnung auf. Das erste Kupplungsglied (14) weist einen zweiten weicheisenhaltigen Teilkern (14a) mit Magnetfluss-Polen auf, welche die Spulenanordnung des ortsfesten Trägers (12) zusammen mit dem weicheisenhaltigen ersten Teilkern in radialer Richtung zumindest teilweise einfassen und dem zweiten Kupplungsglied (16) zugewandt sind. Das zweite Kupplungsglied (16) weist den Magnetfluss-Polen (14c) zugewandte, mit diesen korrespondierende Permanentmagnet-Elemente (N, S) auf, die zumindest in einigen Positionen des zweiten Kupplungsglieds relativ zum ersten Kupplungsglied (14) zumindest teilweise mit wenigstens einigen der Magnetfluss-Pole (14c)fluchten. Das erste Kupplungsglied (14) und das zweite Kupplungsglied (16) sind dazu eingerichtet, ein Drehmoment und/ oder eine Drehbewegung von dem einen Kupplungsglied auf das andere Kupplungsglied zu übertragen, wobei die Spulenanordnung dazu eingerichtet ist, mit einem Wechselrichter (WR) verbunden zu sein, um das Maß der Übertragung des Drehmoments und/ oder der Drehbewegung von dem einen Kupplungsglied auf das andere Kupplungsglied zu beeinflussen.

In dem Gehäuse kann eine Wärmetauschereinrichtung aufgenommen sein um Kühlfluid abzukühlen, nachdem es mit dem Läufer in Kontakt gewesen ist.

Jede Läufer- scheibe umfasst zwei oder mehr, die Permanentmagnet-Elemente und weichmagnetische Läuferzahn-Elemente tragende, zumindest nahezu unmagnetische, vorzugsweise paramag- netische Trägerbleche. Zwischen den Trägerblechen ist eine von den Permanentmagnet-Ele- menten zumindest bis nahe an die Läuferwelle reichende Wärmeleitschicht aufgenommen. Der Läufer hat nahe der Läuferwelle die Trägerbleche der Läuferscheibe radial und axial durchdringende Kühlfluid-Kanäle. Die Läuferwelle hat mit den Kühlfluid-Kanälen des Läufers verbundene Kühlfluid-Zu- und/oder –Abführleitungen.

Zwischen dem Ständer und dem Läufer ist ein Luftspalt gebildet, der von den Permanentmagnet-Elementen und mit auf diese in bestimmten Positionen ausgerichteten magnetisch leitenden Zähnen des Ständers begrenzt ist. Die Spulenanordnung weist wenigstens eine hohlzylindrische Wicklung auf, die in dem Ständer zumindest teilweise aufgenommen ist. Der Läufer hat auf von dem Luftspalt abliegenden Seiten der Permanentmagnet-Elemente einen magnetischen Rückschluss. Der magnetische Rückschluss ist aus in Umfangsrichtung des Läufers orientierten Ringen gebildet, die in Axialrichtung des Läufers nicht breiter sind als einzelne der Permanentmagnet-Elemente. Zwischen in Axialrichtung der elektrischen Maschine benachbarten Permanentmagnet-Elementen und/oder in Axialrichtung benachbarten magnetischen Rückschluss-Ringen sind elektrisch/magnetisch wirksame Kurzschluss-Spulen angeordnet.

Auf der von den Halbleiterchips (6) abgewandten Seite des Trägers (1), auf der die elektrischen Leiter (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) angebracht sind, ist eine von den Leitern durch eine Isolationsschicht (4) getrennte Metallfläche (Met) angeordnet, die zur elektrischen Abschirmung und/oder zur Impedanzkontrolle der in den Halbleiterchips vorhandenen integrierten Schaltungen vorgesehen ist. Diese Metallfläche ist mit einem elektrischen Leiter (3d) des Trägers verbunden, der dafür vorgesehen ist, ein für die Abschirmung vorgesehenes elektrisches Potential an die Metallfläche anzulegen.
