Bu kapsamda gerçekleştirilen in vitro ve in vivo çalışmalar neticesinde Kilis yöresine ait bamya ekstresi ile hazırlanan formülasyonun yara iyileşme üzerinde oldukça etkili olduğu bulunmuştur. Histopatolojik analizlerde referans ve %5 etanol ekstresi gruplarında kollajenizasyon ve granülasyon dokusu olgunlaşmasının daha iyi olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca, biyouyumluluk testleri kapsamında in vitro EpidermTM, rekonstitüye deri irritasyon testi (SIT) sonucunda da bu jel formülasyonun irritan olmadığı saptanmıştır.
