A finished, or for mfr. of shaped parts, half-finished prod. (20) comprises a fabric mesh in which one thread (4) has been mfd. from a first and another (5) from a second material, at least the latter being thermoplastic. The second material has a softening temp. (second order transition point) lower than that of the first and when heated beyond a given temp. binds as one with the first material and itself. The two threads are distributed evenly over the sheet surface. Also claimed is a similar prod. but where the first thread is coated with a third material. When heated as before the second material binds as one with the coating and itself. Also claimed is a wall-covering made from the prod.. Pref. the second material has shape memory, i.e. after being heated then cooled it retains the shape it had during heating. The first material is non-organic, e.g. metal, ceramic or other inorganic compound and at least its threads are yarn, spun yarn, endless yarn, a monofil, doubled or twisted yarn and its fibres single or staple. The second material threads can be similarly chosen. The mesh is a knit which has plain stitches on both sides, purl on both sides or plain on one and purl on the other, each stitch being formed from a thread of the first and a thread of the second material. The knit has materials distributed randomly on each side or it is a plated knit, the first material appearing on one side and the second on the other. The knit is pre-stretched in at least one direction, pref. parallel with the stitch wales and fixed in its stretched state. Stitch sides have a length between 2 and 12, pref. 4 and 8, most pref. about 6 mm.

Zwischen die Nadeln (2) sind durch eine Platinenschloßkurve (15) gesteuerte, den Nadelträger (1) übergreifende und jeweils einen Platinenschaft (12) aufweisende Platinen (7) angeordnet, die quer zu den Nadeln (2) sowie in deren Längsrichtung beweglich gelagert und derart gesteuert sind, daß sie an der jeweiligen Strickstelle nach dem Einschließen entgegen der Abziehbewegung der zugeordneten Nadeln (2) sowie quer zu diesen nach außen und nach dem Abschlagen der Masche entgegen der Nadelaustriebsbewegung sowie quer zu dieser nach innen bewegt werden. Um die Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit der Strickmaschine zu erhöhen und eine feine Nadelteilung zu erzielen, ist die Anordnung derart getroffen, daß die Platinen (7) mit ihrem Schaft (12) unter Ausbildung von Führungsstegen für die jeweils benachbarten Nadelschäfte (3) an dem Nadelträger (1) geführt sind, wobei unmittelbar an dem Nadelträger (1) ein den Platinen (7) die Querbewegung zu den Nadeln (2) erteilendes Austriebsschloß (16) angeordnet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fadenzufuhreinrichtung fuer Strick- oder Wirkmaschinen. Waehrend das Ziel in der Erhoehung der Wirtschaftlichkeit und der Lebensdauer besteht, ist es Aufgabe den Faden im Bereich des Fadenfuehrers zu schonen, keine Beeintraechtigung durch Flusenbildung eintritt, zeitraubendes Einfaedeln in Fadenleitbohrungen entfaellt und der Nadelverschleiss reduziert wird. Um eine schonende Behandlung des Fadens, insbesondere im Bereiche des Fadenfuehrers und eine leichte Handhabung der Fadenzufuhreinrichtung zu erzielen, ist die Anordnung derart getroffen, dass der Fadenfuehrer wenigstens eine am Umfang eines mit einer Befestigungseinrichtung versehenen Fadenfuehrerkoerpers ausgebildete randoffene Fadenleitrille aufweist, deren Grund, in Fadenlaufrichtung gesehen, bogenfoermig gekruemmt ist und in der der Faden in eine schraeg zu den Nadeln verlaufende Richtung umlenkbar ist. The fixed blades a and moving blades b are equally inclined to the axial direction and are formed with oppositely curved surfaces, which are active or idle according to the direction of flow of the working fluid, which is regulated by the reversing-valve d and sliding throttle valves g provided at each end of the turbine. The rings g are provided with orifices to admit a certain amount of fluid when the rings are at their extreme forward position. To facilitate starting, the edges of the moving blades are cut away as at c, Fig. 1. The blade extremities may dip into grooves formed in the rotor and stator, Fig. 4, or they may be fitted with registering flanges b<2>, Fig. 5. The blades may be fixed by caulking into grooves formed with transverse slots, Fig. 5.

A device (1) for treating exhaust gas from internal combustion engines, comprising a housing (2) containing an insert (5) which is comprised of two types of knitted hoses (13,14). One knitted hose (13) exclusively consists of metal wire while the other knitted hose (14) consists of either mineral fibers alone or mainly consists of mineral fibers. The knitted hose (13) produced from metal wire forms meshes which protrude from the knitted mineral fiber hose (13) on the intake side in order to receive additional heat and conduct it towards the inside of the insert (5). It is possible to arrange the insert (5) at a sufficient distance from the exhaust of the engine, whereby overheating in the full load range can be prevented and reaction of the catalytic material on said insert can also be guaranteed in the partial load range of the internal combustion engine.

Eine Einrichtung 1 zur Behandlung von Abgasen von Verbrennungsmotoren weist ein Gehäuse 2 auf, in dem sich ein Einsatz 5 befindet, der sich aus zwei Arten von Gestrickschläuchen 13, 14 zusammensetzt. Ein Gestrickschlauch 13 besteht ausschließlich aus Metalldraht, während der andere Gestrickschlauch 14 entweder nur aus Mineralfaser oder überwiegend aus Mineralfaser besteht. Der aus Metalldraht erzeugte Gestrickschlauch 13 bildet Maschen, die auf der Anströmseite über den Gestrickschlauch 13 aus Mineralfaser überstehen, um zusätzlich Wärme aufzunehmen und in das Innere des Einsatzes 5 weiterzuleiten. Hierdurch ist es möglich, den Einsatz 5 in einem solchen Abstand von dem Auslass des Motors anzuordnen, dass eine Überhitzung im Volllastbereich vermieden wird, während andererseits das Ansprechen des Katalysatormaterials auf dem Einsatz auch im Teillastbereich des Verbrennungsmotors gewährleistet ist.

A method of delivering a radioactive liquid includes, performing an initialization, including; extracting at least a first amount of a radioactive liquid from a source of radioactive liquid, measuring a radioactivity level for the first amount of radioactive liquid, and performing a calibration phase. The calibration phase includes, extracting a second amount of radioactive liquid from the source of radioactive liquid wherein the second amount is calculated based on the radioactivity level of the first amount to provide a total dose of radioactive liquid having a predetermined radioactivity level, and delivering the total dose and performing at least one more calibration and delivery phases.
