Multiboot-based FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) online upgrading method

The invention provides an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) online upgrading method based on Multiboot. The FPGA online upgrading method comprises the following steps: embedding online upgrading processing logic in an FPGA operation main system; the method comprises the following steps of: burning two or more FPGA operation main systems embedded with online upgrading processing logic in the same version to different areas of FLASH by utilizing the characteristics of Multiboot; after the FPGA is powered on again, the configurable file of the program with the version to be updated is directly written into the same FLASH without the help of an off-chip chip or a JTAG (Joint Test Action Group), the repeated cover removal of the product is avoided without using the JTAG mode, the limitation by the length of a cable is avoided, the mode is flexible, a special peripheral chip is not used, and the resource consumption and the circuit design difficulty are reduced.
