The preparation method of the germanate transparent glass ceramic comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the components of the germanate transparent glass ceramic to obtain a mixed material; melting the mixed material at the temperature of 1300-1110 DEG C, and keeping the temperature for 10-110 minutes to obtain a glass melt; quenching and forming the glass melt, and annealing at 200-410 DEG C for 2-24 hours to obtain a glass precursor; the glass precursor is subjected to heat preservation at 4104410 DEG C for 4440 h and then naturally cooled, and the germanate transparent glass ceramic is prepared.
