A square-shaped fastening device for joining a wooden deck on the underside surface thereof comprises: a plurality of first projecting surfaces formed on one side in the width direction and a plurality of second projecting surfaces formed on the other side in the width direction, which are formed projecting upwards on each of the corners of the fastening device; a plurality of fastening parts which are formed cut-away and extending in the width direction in line with the first projecting surfaces; and a first extending part which is formed opposite the fastening parts, extending on the other side in the width direction in line with the second projecting surfaces, and is formed with a plurality of upwardly projecting insertion parts in the width direction. The fastening parts are secured by being inserted into the insertion parts of the first extending part.
