A handheld multi-purpose device having a hollow handle (2, fig 1) coupled with a mallet head (4, fig 1). The hollow handle contains an extendable part (5, fig 3) to which is attached a hook (7, fig 3) suitable for extracting tent pegs. The extendable part may also feature an aperture (8, fig 3) for cleaning tent pegs. The aperture may have bristles. The extendable handle may have a push-button release mechanism (10, fig 1). There may be a pin (11, fig 5) within the handle to retain the extendable part within the handle.

A caravan cover comprises a first 14 and a second 16 portion shaped to cover a first and a second surface of the caravan 10 respectively, the second portion being detachable from both the first portion and the caravan. When the second portion is removed, the first portion may still be used independently as a partial cover, covering only the first surface of the caravan. The first portion preferably covers the front face 12 of the vehicle and may be used to protect it while the caravan is being towed. The two portions or sections are preferably waterproof and/or windproof and may be attached to one another via hook and loop fasteners, their attachment region preferably being sealed. They may also include further attachment means, such as flaps 18 or ties, in order to be secured to the caravan themselves.
