An antenna support system has a mast which comprises a first structural mast member 102, which has a structural portion 120, for bearing at least part of the mast load when in use, and a mounting portion 122, for attachment of an antenna steering unit. An antenna support system comprises first and second similar antenna mounting assemblies. The antenna mounting assemblies are assemblies of plates and brackets which may be fastened together to form structures which may be readily clamped to a support structure, such as a mast.
