The invention relates to a formulation of an intermediate-temperature acidic nanometer chemical composition plating Ni-P-ZrO2 which is characterized by comprising the formulation as follows: (1) formation of base plating solution comprising: 25-30g/L of nickel sulfate, 25-35g/L of sodium hypophosphite, 12-18g/L of Sodium acetate, 0.5-1.3MG/L of thiourea, 15-25ml/L of lactic acid, 15-25ml/L of glacial acetic acid and 5-10g/L of organic acid; (2) additive formulation of periodic test: the adding weight ratio of sodium hypophosphite to the nickel sulfate is 1.1-1.3, wherein the concentration of nickel ion in the plating solution is tested in every 60 minutes, the concentrated solution is added according to the consumption of the nickel ion, wherein the addition of the nanometer ZrO2 granule is 10-25 percent of the original use amount, the plating temperature is 70-75 DEG C and the PH value ranges from 4.5 to 5.2.
