In order to manage power on a wearable computing device, a processor of the wearable computing device identifies one or more events. The processor determines a priority of each of the one or more events. Based on the priority of each of the one or more events, the processor determines whether to process the event. When the processor determines that the event is to be processed, the processor determines whether to defer processing of the event. 1. A power management method for a wearable computing device , the method comprising:a processor of the wearable computing device identifying one or more events;the processor determining a priority of each of the one or more events;based on the priority of the each of the one or more events, the processor determining whether to process the event and, when the processor determines that the event is to be processed, the processor determining whether to defer processing of the event.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the processor identifies at least one of a network communication claim 1 , a display update claim 1 , a user interface interaction claim 1 , and a sensor update as an event.3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising the processor generating the event that is identified.4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the processor identifies a network communication as an event claim 2 , and further comprising the processor transmitting the network communication that is identified as an event to a host computing device or to a remote computing device via a host computing device.5.
