Transport stage for the production of paintbrushes

The present invention relates to a transport stage for the production of paintbrushes. The problem to be solved is to provide a transport chain which is improved in relation to the prior art and which performs all the phases of production of the paintbrush automatically, especially the blocking of the handle and the coating of the bristles in the ring with glue. The solution to the problem is achieved by means of two mutually parallel guides (2, 3), at least one of which is assigned a drive formed by a driving disc (13), on which guides (2, 3) are mounted in series a multiplicity of jaws (6) which have essentially one engagement part of a shape complementary with the guides (2, 3) but which are formed at the front such that they can receive the lateral ends of the ring (10), the ring (10) being transported over the entire work cycle for the reception of the handle (15) and of the bristles (14) due to the fact that the jaws (6) on each guide (2, 3) are permanently located opposite one another ...
