The client terminal of information exchange is connected to the terminal module and each terminal module has one input port and one output port; and in the addressing module one relatiohship list of input ports and output ports arranged in matrix mode is established and in the list the open-close state of the communication link is recorded in cross mode. After the input terminal module receives the information transfer request, terminal number corresponding to the logic address is obtained from the addressing module and the information is sent directly to the buffer area of destination terminal in output port. The information received by the output port is provided to corresponding client terminal and sent directly to the input buffer area while the response data is returned. The method has fast information exchange speed and is easy to realize in hardware.
