According to one embodiment, a switching circuit includes a high-side switch, a low-side switch, and a driver. The high-side switch is connected between a power supply terminal and an output terminal. The low-side switch is connected between the output terminal and a ground terminal. The driver is configured to turn off any one of the high-side switch and the low-side switch according to a control signal. The driver is configured to supply a first voltage to a control terminal of one other switch in a first period to turn on the one other switch, and supply a second voltage higher than the first voltage to the control terminal of the one other switch after the first period. 1. A switching circuit comprising:a high-side switch connected between a power supply terminal and an output terminal;a low-side switch connected between the output terminal and a ground terminal; anda driver configured to turn off any one of the high-side switch and the low-side switch according to a control signal, supply a first voltage to a control terminal of one other switch in a first period to turn on the one other switch, and supply a second voltage higher than the first voltage to the control terminal of the one other switch after the first period.2. The circuit according to claim 1 ,wherein the first period is not longer than a reverse recovery time of a parasitic diode of any one of the high-side switch and the low-side switch.3. According to one embodiment, a switching circuit includes a high-side switch, a rectifier, and a driver. The high-side switch is connected between a high potential terminal and an output terminal. An operation controller has a reference voltage generator, a starter circuit, and a switch element. A DC-DC converter includes a high-side circuit supplied with a power supply voltage and a first internal reference voltage generated by a first regulator. The high-side circuit provides a current to an inductor, which is used for generating an output voltage. The first and second regulators each generate respective internal reference voltages. A resonance device comprising:a first substrate that includes a resonator having an upper electrode;a second substrate having a first surface that faces the first substrate with the resonator disposed therebetween;a first terminal disposed on a second surface of the second substrate that is opposite the first surface, with the first terminal being electrically connected to the upper electrode;a second terminal disposed on the second surface of the second substrate and that is configured to apply a reference electric potential to the resonator; andan extended wiring line that is electrically connected to the first terminal and that extends on the second surface of the second substrate to an outer edge thereof.2. After the enable signal is supplied and a start signal is generated, the reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage up to a stable value. After the reference voltage rises to the stable value, it generates a stop signal. When the enable signal is supplied, the starter circuit generates the start signal, and supplies it to the reference voltage generator. When the enable signal is no longer supplied or the stop signal is generated, the start signal is terminated. The switch element has one end connected to the enable terminal and the other end supplied with a prescribed voltage; it turns on when the start signal is generated, and turns off when the start signal is terminated.

The output current of a rectifier circuit (109) is interrupted by a switching circuit incorporated in a modulation circuit (110) in accordance with the transmission wave. In the period of interruption, the output voltage of the rectifier circuit (109) is limited by a voltage limiting circuit incorporated in the modulation circuit (110) to a value not more than the breakdown voltage of elements which constitute the circuit. The loss of power during data transmission is extremely small, and hence the circuit can be constituted by elements of a usual breakdown voltage.

This invention relates to a control apparatus of a multistage setting type in which, when input pulses are counted and the counted values are compared with some of a plurality of preset points to see whether the former are larger or smaller than or equal to the latter, an output signal is supplied and indicated on the basis ofthe results of the comparison action. As the apparatus has such a construction that the preset points are set and memorized electrically. a number of points can be preset and the volume of the apparatus can be minimized. Further, in order to compare the input pulses with the preset points, two comparators are used. Into one of the comparators, the counted values and a preset point smaller than, but nearest to, the counted value are put in together, and at the same time, into another comparator, a preset point larger than, but nearest to, the counted value are put in together. Therefore the period of calculation is extremely short.
