Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, dieses Failover-Verhalten sicher zu machen. Eine Steuereinrichtung (2) steuert und kontrolliert einen industriellen technischen Prozess (1). Die zugehörige Steueraufgabe (6) weist Tasks (7) auf, denen Prioritäten zugeordnet sind. Eine Task (7a) ist eine zyklisch ausgeführte Basistask (7a). Die anderen Tasks (7b bis 7f) sind getriggerte Tasks (7b bis 7f), die bei Eintreten einer jeweiligen Startbedingung jeweils einmal ausgeführt werden. Die Steuereinrichtung (2) nimmt im Rahmen eines jeweiligen Zyklus der Basistask (7a) Eingangsdaten (E) des industriellen technischen Prozesses (1) entgegen, ermittelt unter deren Verwertung Basis-Ausgangsdaten (A) und gibt diese an den industriellen technischen Prozess (1) aus. Die Steuereinrichtung (2) ermittelt im Rahmen der getriggerten Tasks (7b bis 7f) mit oder ohne Entgegennahme von Eingangsdaten (E') des industriellen technischen Prozesses (1) Zusatz-Ausgangsdaten (A') und gibt sie an den industriellen technischen Prozess (1) aus. Die Tasks (7) werden auf mehrere Prozessorkerne (3) der Steuereinrichtung (2) verteilt. Die Prozessorkerne (3) prüfen ab dem Starten eines Zyklus der Basistask (7a) jeweils, ob mindestens eine von ihnen ausführbare getriggerte Task (7b bis 7f) zur Ausführung freigegeben ist. Je nach Ergebnis der Prüfung führen sie eine von ihnen ausführbare getriggerte Task (7b bis 7f), den jeweiligen Zyklus der Basistask (7a) oder keinen Task (7) aus. Der die Basistask (7a) ausführende Prozessorkern (3a) unterbricht die Ausführung der Basistask (7a) mit dem Abschluss des jeweiligen Zyklus der Basistask (7a), bis alle anderen Prozessorkerne (3b) keine getriggerte Task (7b bis 7f) mehr ausführen. Erst dann startet er die Ausführung des nächsten Zyklus der Basistask (7a).

Durch dieses Verfahren ist es möglich, den Fehlerüberdeckungsgrad (DC = Diagnostic Coverage) zu erhöhen und damit die Verfügbarkeit des Gesamtsystems zu erhöhen.

A tool holder is configured for rotation about a tool holder axis of rotation defining an axial direction. The tool holder, at one axial longitudinal end thereof, has a tool section with a tool-receiving formation for receiving a tool and, at the opposite axial longitudinal end, has a coupling section with a coupling formation for torque-transmitting coupling to a machine spindle of a machine tool. A measuring apparatus is configured for acquiring data relating to the operation of the tool holder. The measuring apparatus has a sensor, in particular an acceleration sensor, with at least two measurement axes. The two measurement axes are oriented substantially radially with respect to the tool holder axis of rotation.

Es soll ein hochverfügbares System insbesondere für die Automatisierungstechnik mit einer plattformunabhängigen Diagnose realisiert werden. Daher wird eine Vorrichtung zum Steuern einer Maschine mit einer ersten Steuereinrichtung (1), mit der ein erster Programmcode (7) zum Steuern verarbeitbar ist, einer parallelen zweiten Steuereinrichtung (2), mit der ein zweiter Programmcode (8) zum Steuern verarbeitbar ist, und einer Synchronisationseinrichtung zum Synchronisieren der ersten Steuereinrichtung mit der zweiten Steuereinrichtung bereitgestellt. Der erste Programmcode (7) ist ein codierter Programmcode, bei dem Arbeitsanweisungen und/oder Datenstrukturen gegenüber einem zugrunde liegenden Quellcode (9) codiert sind. Der zweite Programmcode (8) ist ein nicht codierter Programmcode, bei dem Arbeitsanweisungen und/oder Datenstrukturen gegenüber dem Quellcode (9) nicht codiert sind. Die Synchronisationseinrichtung (3) weist eine Codiereinrichtung (12) auf, um Daten, die bei der Synchronisation kommuniziert werden entsprechend der Codierung des ersten Programmcodes (7) in Abhängigkeit von der Kommunikationsrichtung zu codieren oder zu decodieren.
